I love this site, y-all bring up things I had forgotten about. I overlooked what a supertitious, terrified bunch the J-duds are. It is almost medieval. I never had demon problems until AFTER I started studying with the J-duds! And I do not have any problems with them now. The J-duds use the word 'Jehovah' like some kind of good luck charm. What a sorry state of fear and ignorance they live in. Some may reason that the demons don't want you to study with the J-duds and that is why they attack. I say just the opposite! They scare people right into the Organization. It serves them well. Its purpose is to screw-up as many honest hearted, spiritual minded people as possible. And the demon loving Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses are masters to that end! Maverick

My daughter has a crystal sphere hanging from her rear-view mirror in her car. One super fine sister was aghast when she saw it. She said it was demonistic. Of course she could hand crystal chandelier baubals in her wndows at her house to catch the sun. But a crystal "ball" is real bad.

My daughter just looked at her funny and left the ball where it is. Some people need to worry about real problems like world hunger or the single mom down the street who could use a kind word and a sack of groceries.

Gloria Estefan ( Rumor had it she hated the JWs and she was demonized)

Janet Jacksons Album Rhythm Nation ( my over zealous or paranoid sister was convinced this cd was demonic)

Any time a relative comes to visit and they forget any items at our house my sister claims the demons are bothering her. So she searches the house looking for things that could be possessed and then throws them out.

I think my sister is the . LOL

When I was pioneering, the be an example don't stumble others chant - lead to me being counseled for listening to Def Leopard - bad, bad heavy metal music will invite the demons to dinner, Loved Duran Duran - The song 'Union of the Snake' what snake? One sister asked, Could it be Satan? Love Earth Wind & Fire - the demons could be floating overhead! Love Michael Jackson's Thriller naughty girl that I am. Love Reggae music - will be converted to the Rasta religion & get hooked on weed. I'm a movie freak so I watched what appealed to me even if it was rated R. Saw Aliens and my elder uncle wigged out - it has demonic overtones! & Terminator and The Sixth Sense - my demonic marathon continues. Never pray out loud, Satan might hear! - Oh brother. Also, I wear a celtic ring because I love the design - it's pagan, why am I wearing it? - They're so ridiculous, It feels great not to be so paranoid and afraid anymore! - Victorian Sky

When I was in third grade they had a program for Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF. It helps children all over the world. They were also selling candy to raise money. I wasn't allowed to buy any candy. My Mom told me the Society said this was wrong because it was run through the United Nations. Little did I know that one day the Society would become a member of the United Nations as an NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) for almost 10 years. When caught, they gave the lame excuse they only did it to get a library card. Gee, and I only wanted to spend a nickle for a piece of candy.

Oops! Saying the word Gee. Also Gosh, Golly, and Gee Whiz. I wonder how the translators at the UN handle that. Maybe the Watchtower knows? They used to be members.

Running for student council. Or even voting for student council. I guess this would be too much like getting involved in a political organization, even though the student council never had any real power. Kind of like the WTBTS joining the UN, even though they don't have any real power.

Investing in Savings Bonds. A bad investment apparently because it doesn't come with a library card. The Rand corporation is a much better investment, I guess.

BTW, did I mention that the Watchtower Society used to belong to the United Nations?
