The WTS has backed off saying that everyone will receive a personal witness (see Matthew 10:23 and research it as to the timeline of this teaching re everyone having personal witness) WT May 2024 p.10 pp 7 "However, Jesus also told his disciples that they would not “complete the circuit of the cities,” or preach to everyone, before he would come. (Matt. 10:23; 25:31-33) Jesus’ words will prove to be true in our day as well. Millions of people today live in areas where the preaching work is severely restricted. In addition, hundreds of babies are born every minute. We do our best to reach people from “every nation and tribe and tongue” with the good news. (Rev. 14:6) But the fact is that we will not be able to share the good news with each individual on earth before the end comes."

So how can their god rightly destroy people who live in areas where a witness may be impossible (community responsibility per WTS), or babies born whose parent(s) are not baptized jws (family merit per WTS) waffling on whether it is fact or not. Say "we" cannot judge, when the do judge, and jws believe this.

    Family merit WT 4/15/1987 p. 13

The people must accept responsibility for the nation’s acts.

    Community Responsibility WT 6/1/1952 p. 345 par 14

@Jeffro, are you speaking on behalf of Watchtower? Do you have insider information because you are part of the Watchtower hierarchy?

If you have evidence of your statement, perhaps you'd be willing to present it.

Last I knew, there were also JWs in Korea. And Ireland. And Switzerland. And many other places that own pieces of the companies listed in the JW Holding group.

Perhaps you'd like to read some more information here before speaking any further...

Jehovah's Witnesses are in countries where there are things, therefore things in countries that mention the letters 'JW' must be Jehovah's Witnesses. And it's for reals because they have an unrelated company in Ireland.

    🤦‍♂️

(The 'JW' in 'JW Holdings' actually stands for JungWoo.)

PID has more than one meaning.

What's the official name of the meeting? Is it an AGM (Annual General Meeting)?

Lol, when I was a kid I read Roald Dahl's "The Witches."

In that book there was an Annual Meeting of horrid ladies who ate children while publicly claiming to be "The Royal Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Children."

Kinda reminds me of the Watchtower Annual Meeting!😜

(Here is a video clip featuring part of last year's "opening prayer" at the Annual Meeting, which is not typically published for the rank-and-file to hear, just like the decision making part or the "voting" part of the meeting isn't public either.)

Thx FTM for this share. I've long thought that the org's policy of cutting out the prayers in videos was not only strange but unbiblical, given passages like 1 Kings 3:6-9 and 8:22-61, all of John 17, Acts 2:24-26, and many others.

    How was this one obtained?

Why don't you ask Larchwood. It's his account.

But you already know that WT plays both sides, so the "leaks" are often strategically placed for the purpose of controlled opposition.

There are plenty of guys on here who already know that.

    (Don't you.)

Anyway, as you know, the WT leakers on EXJW Reddit allowed the entire stream. I did watch it along with the others when it was taking place live and I made comments on the EXJW forum thread but the WT mods edited my comments so I deleted my account.

One comment I had made had to do with that opening prayer. It's disgusting. The man is saying a prayer for the purpose of showy display. He's asking Jehovah to bless the satanic Watchtower corporation.

The closing prayer wasn't so bad. The brother at the end of the annual meeting wasn't sucking up to the Watchtower hierarchy so much so that last one was more palatable. The other one made me want to vomit.
