So why do they need different contribution boxes?

I think they are frustrated that online donations mean that it is difficult now for them to track exactly what each congregation is contributing. Maybe this is an attempt to regain some control over information about which congregations are contributing less money than others. Because in the past circuit overseers could see exactly how much the congregation was contributing and address the issue with the elders. But now the elders could truthfully say, “in this congregation the publishers donate online, so we can’t know how much they are donating”. Even if the circuit overseer or the branch suspects that a congregation is not pulling its weight, as they see it, it may be more difficult to identity these days.

It is truly exciting to see that the rapid growth in Jehovah's organization is creating a need for expanded theocratic facilities to support audio/video production.
How much truth is there in any of this statement?
Where is this rapid growth as it's not being demonstrated in their annual figures?
The small growth does not corelate to any requirement to expand audio and video production. If they numbered 5 million instead of 8 million, the number of audio and video's required for propaganda would still be the same.

So let get this straight. It's ok to have a designated contribution box for their pet project. But you can't designate your donation to specify that 100% would go to help the Ukrainian brothers directly,?!

In this area (midwest US) about 10 years ago they put up a special contribution box for a planned assembly hall. Later the project was scrapped. But the monies which were put into the special box were never (to my knowledge) accounted for. Presumably it just ended up in the WT coffers.

There was a time, we had 3 donation boxes in the local hall.
Local funds,
East European funds
World wilde work funds.
The boxes were very well designed, all on one footh.
So an elder said "don't forget to donate to the 3 headed monster".
