I think it's fairly certain that we are being watched. My concern is that by 8/8 or even by next month the word will be out and they will be expecting us (if they're still in business). Much if not all of the impact, will be lost.

Of course they will get wind of this - but it's not a problem, really.

One more round of preemptive damage control in their publications and talks - sooner or later the r&f may start to see that's what it is, not some wonderful prophetic warning of future trouble.

More backbiting and paranoia, curiosity, gossip, witch hunts - a regular jw party.

The surprise elements will be that it actually carries through and (hopefully) gets media attention.

We all know exjws that aren't on these boards or Facebook groups, we could have a self printable leaflet that could be dropped through their doors discreetly to make them aware of the campaign?

I don't have time to read the whole thread so i hope I'm not way off topic.

But for those who can't dissassociate, how about an anonymous letter to all the witness email addresses they have. Something like: we are your fellow brothers, we sit in the Kingdom Hall with you, we love Jehovah, but we are increasingly concerned about.....

include the most divisive topics such as shunning, blood, child abuse, false prophecies, GB worship, everyone else will die etc etc with some jwfacts style hard arguments against the wt stand on these issues. Sending them all at the same time to r&f might cause a lot of people to think, certainly stir the pot. If these things are only addressed to the ones in charge it will quickly be clamped down, but if to the r&f it would really be out there and uncontrollable.

Personally I must have more than 100 email contacts who are witnesses, if we all put these together on mail chimp or something and send out a mass mailer on one day (say get cedars to own the account coz he obviously doesn't care about anonymity) we could have thousands upon thousands of witness addresses.

I have not read the whole thread, but I will contribute my two cents.

In order to make an impact you have to gather thousands of people and you also have to contact all the news media, in the hopes that they will pay attention to the most troublesome things about JW's: blood, shunning, two witness rule that gives free range to pedophiles, secrecy, no higher education, false prophecies, non profit org. without any charitable work. Let us hope that, by then, people are paying attention to anything Watchtower and your DA letter carry significance outside JW circles and will reach many people outside the org.

Perhaps a list of the most prominent media outlets in various countries should begin to be developed. In addition to whatever congregation(s) each person chooses to send to, another half dozen (at least) should be directed toward the media.

To simplify the targeting of media, I wonder if a greater impact would result if we focused on major news agencies headquartered in New York.

On the flip side of that idea, other countries do seem to be more sensitive to religious issues than the U.S.. Greater minds should weigh in.

We only have a limited number of letters. We have to find a way to get the most bang for our buck.

Somewhere we should dedicate it to those early ones that had courage and paid for it. Ray Franz. Barbara Anderson. We owe them a lot. - Freemindfade

If we can fit it all in I love this idea, it really is true we owe them a lot. Intetesting - its kind of a modern sacrifice, they are modern "saints"if you will. Similarly with those such as Oompa, although I didn't know him, I see them as emotionally pure "givers" to humanity😇
