As I am reading these posts I’m listening to Steven Curtis Chapman. The last song always really touches me. It’s taken from Psalm 46:10 & Zech 2:13. It’s not just the lyrics, the music is very gentle.

Oh stop it TYYDYY! That song gets me every damn time.

I was raised listening to classical piano music, particularly from the 18th and 19th centuries. Some of these are the songs played by our own FARKEL.

I particularly drown in Chopin etudes and ballades, and with the music of Edvard Grieg (particularly Piano Concerto in A Minor). And I love "Rhapsody in Blue" by George Gershwin (the song used by an airline in the "fly the friendly skies" commercial).
