We should all forget the Watchtower and the memories it has imprinted on our minds. Only then shall we be free from that Organization.
It is a fact of human emotion that after a traumatic experience one needs time to process the experience and properly express the emotions surrounding the trauma. Otherwise the negative emotions only get stuffed. If that happens, the feelings will still come out, only in other and more harmful ways.
This website offers the opportunity for those leaving the organization to find others who have gone through similar experiences. It is a halfway house providing experienced people who have come out the other side and are able to help those fearful of leaving or those angered and/or traumatized.
The above statement of yours is asinine. It reflects no compassion or understanding of the Witness experience. There does indeed come a time when everyone moves on, but it must be done on the individual's time table and not yours. If you are happy and content with your life then be on your way and "forget all about" this website. I submit that your participation in this site is amazingly hypocritical.

This guy says that we refuse to let go of the past .........I have a question for you, sorry I forgot your name,Hasam? Who are you to judge how long and how we let go of the past? Some of us can cut all ties with all the JW's we know and all of the Watchtower stuff because we have no family as a constant reminder. Others as Valis pointed out have to deal with this all the time, almost on a daily basis, some are married to a believer.
You expected a reaction? What did that reaction do for you? How did it make you feel? Why do you care? Or do you care at all?
Losing ones religion is very similar to a death, you don't just up and forget about it and never think of it again. If you stay around here you will see that there are good days and bad days for many here who are on a long hard road of recovery. A recovery , because many were abused, physically, mentally, and sexually by some in this religion, and the religion that they thought they could turn to for understand and protection, turned it's back on them.

I dont support any kind of terrorism that kills innocent people. I am neither making a mockery of or supporting terrorism at all. If I wanted to support terrorism, I would have named myself 'Coalition'.

Wrong. I fully understand the Witness experience, being an active Witness for many years. My statement was merely an encouragement for people to ponder upon.

Troll. If you havent realized it yet, this person is getting off on everyone continuing to post to this thread. Just drop it and hopefully Hamas will go away. Or, perhaps he/she will realize that conversation like this does nothing but incite and will become a productive member of the forum. For Jebus's sake, he/she doesnt even want to reveal their previous identity!!! Why the secrecy? Also, isnt there a rule against multiple accounts?!?!
