The Society looks at 20 and 30 something Memorial partakers as either confused, rebellious or unhappy. These articles come every year telling everyone that thinks they are going to heaven that they are not. Any that still feel they're heavenbound are ostracized and gossipped about.

In a perverse sort of way, it might serve them well to allow everyone to partake, with the explanation that simply partaking as acknowledgement of Jesus' ransom does not in any way prejudice the 144000 doctrine. This would then eliminate the embarassment of having explain any increases in the numbers, and could pave the way for the eventual assertion that all of the 144,000 have already taken their place alongside Christ.
