Back from the Memorial (page 3)

My daughter is extremely fortunate to have me as a parent and often tells people so. I was the only one to take an interest in her spiritual well-being, as her MS father would not even conduct a study with her.

If I have any contempt at all, it is for people who rush to judgement about people they do not know. Now THAT pisses me off.

In case you don't know, I could honestly GIVE the talk tonight. I've heard it close to 40 times and wrote a few of them for someone else to deliver as I lacked the proper chromosome.

Sounds as if all the love and good spirits you enjoyed have worn off quickly.

I remember thinking how nice everyone was.............and you know what they are. Many JW's are very nice but its still a cult and those very nice people can be very cruel and all in the name of Jehovah. I was once the same way (i think I'm a nice person) but I'm ashamed at some of my unloving behavior because of my cult beliefs.

Jurs..... I'm sorry you was so unloving at the times you were, you musn't let it get you down though. You call it "cult" coz that word is sort of a buzz word that makes you feel better about yourself. It doesn't have to be that way you know. What you thought were nice people, really were, go back and check. I'm sure you're still a nice person as you say you are, with or without Jehovah.

That was mean and uncalled for. She's a good and decent person and doesn't deserve this type of snotty response.

If you can't talk nicely to someone, then pack it in for the night.
