Islam is not a race, but the fact that there are so many people that confuse Sikh people, or any brown people as Muslim in the U.S. means that there is some crossover in a lot of people's mind between "middle easterner" and "Muslim." - and yet we never hear about a potential 'backlash' from the Sikh community, at least we don't in the UK.
Obviously, calling people 'towelheads' is wrong. Obviously, calling all Muslims 'terrorists' is wrong. Both these bigoted opinions should be called out. There should be no place for these bigoted opinions in public/professional life.
And yes, white Christian terrorists are very dangerous and should be stopped, with lethal weapons where necessary. Maybe in the US, white Christian f**ktards present a greater threat than Islamic extremist f**ktards.
But I think the picture is different if looked at globally. Monsters like Anders Breivik are few and far between, thank goodness. Plus, there are no white Christian extremist groups currently carving out territory in Northern Europe and massacring minorities whom they hate.

The Muslims community needs to step up. It's hard for me to believe that the family members
had no idea about the radical views of the male shooter and his wife. This family never had
visitors in their home, come on folks evidence were everywhere in their home. A family member, a friend
must have seen it. Today the landlord invite media into killer' home, WTH.
The Muslims community must step it up and stop being complacent.
You know in your circle of friends that one guy that is on the edge, the one friend who is most likely
to do something crazy. The Muslim community know those with radical views, some may be just talk
but it only take one to carry out their sick deed.
Just ran across some interesting numbers. The post-1950 murder rate peaked in 1980 and has been coming down ever since. It's now about half of what it was at the peak.
so what was the contributing factor for the decline in the murder rate???
Socio-economic factors (more wealth, better education)

most the people locked up here are minor offenses and pot possession. Not violent crime. Another big mess
