Some towns require everyone going outside to wear one. One Massachusetts city requires anyone from 5 up to wear a mask. Some cities require masks and have shut down parks and sports playing while others in a nearby town have no such restrictions.

I have no problem with it. Cities usually require citizens to wear pants when outside. If it helps to protect others, then I see no issue with it.

The nets have been taken down where I play tennis but a few towns over, everyone is playing with people waiting to get a court.

Under the circumstances, I see no problem with it. If you can get comfortable or stylish ones that would be nice.

I have a feeling that masks might be here to stay for a while.

I find it quite claustrophobic.....but out of respect for my fellow man I follow the guidelines from the medical and scientific intelligentsia. As long as the virus rages it is selfish and cavalier to ignore safety precautions.....dangerous as well.

It is claustrophobic, I agree. I wear my masks when I go into a store but I don’t understand how people drive around with them. As soon as I can, I take it off.

I don't think they should be mandatory unless there is available and ample supply - otherwise you are effectively banning people from purchasing groceries.

All that needs to happen is it to become a social thing - previously, you would have been looked at strangely if you went round the supermarket wearing a face-mask but in some countries you always got looked at funny if you weren't wearing one.

Social acceptance and a little bit of "standing out" is good enough, we don't need the government flexing their muscles over every little thing as they have already shown that they are piss poor when it comes to common sense and constraint.

They are claustrophobic, even if you have a comfy / vented one, but it's a mild inconvenience to help save lives.

In NY you have to wear a mask if you are in public areas. If you take a walk with no one around or at lease 6 feet apart no mask needed but close contact you need a mask. My next door neighbor sewed two very nice masks. Mine is blue. Still Totally ADD
