What personal campaign have you done against the Witnesses?

  My personal campaign exposing abuse against with jw's . Started in 1983 when I went into treatment for alcoholism and my women sobriety group. I have shared my story and the treatment received by the org for close to 20 years now.

  In the 1990's I was involve with 40 some women in Minneapolis doing a rape survivors video project to to share with different Rape and Domestic violence centers through out the U.S. in our healing processes.

  There was a actress who told my story and she had a southern accent. Which I don't have living in Minnesota. Because of fear of my ex. and dealing with abuse allegations with my children at the time. What was ironic listening to me as if I was talking through her. She had the same speech mannerism. She had me down to a T.

  Jw's were exposed in the treatment I experience with domestic violence by lack of suport from th JC's.

  September 2002 I participated in the SilentLambs march to WT headquarters in Brooklyn, NY. To march for my daughters and testament that abuse exists in the org.

  I wear the SL button as a testament( I can't say witness. Leaves a sour taste im my mouth.) When ask about the button I tell them about the campaign exposing the jw's regarding policies in handling with abuse.

  Sent out SL flyiers to the kingdom halls in the Twin Cities and outside area's in Minnesota. Over memorial week-end. Will continue to spread the word.(pun intented!)

  I've e-mailed various news media and letter to the editor.

  I am commited to the cause for change. My friends call me the Warrior woman on a cause!!!

  Just by my presence is my testamony to change. We all are!!!!

  Sent 40 letters to Watchtower people( those who I could remember surnames) not one reply. Told my doctor and made it very plain not to send me to any specialists who have staff of Watchtower people. As I live in small area contacted members of the local yacht club, country club etc. Warned locals not to attempt to have my electrician husband(only one in area and has the States highest qualifications)to do any work for them. Speak to anyone when I manage to get to a shopping mall on the danger of belonging to a cult as we did. Made folders containing 3 documents(U.N. Watchtower and Media.) and the address of U.N. and SilentLambs. I can't think of anything else at the moment to do, but eventually I will no doubt!!

  Evidently my letter to the elders has been rather far-reaching, to my great surprise. I received a letter from a gentleman in Pryor, Oklahoma, whose daughter read my letter and passed it on to him. He was never a JW, but his ex-wife was. They had 4 children whom he never permitted to join JW, thank goodness, and his letter recounted all the discrepancies in prophecy that we're all pretty familiar with. I was really touched that he took the time to write to me. I AM going to send him a thank-you card (I'm rather bad about actual snail mail correspondence).

  I've passed the letter around to my neighbors who rallied round me after my dad died, and I pity the next Witness who works our street. I've passed it around to the people at work. It's posted on the Internet for anyone to see who types in "Bill or William Bibbee" in a search engine.

  However, it's kind of nice not having to go door-to-door anymore . . . . I don't really miss that!

  And slagged the cult off to many other people

  I suppose other than being on this board and possibly influencing lurkers.......I would fit in with the above. When your spouse is still a dub......picketing a kingdom hall could make for a bad relationship
