If they want to lock the doors of KH during meetings for security reasons, then what the heck are those legions of angels doing ?

The governing body seem to be upping the paranoia levels of its victims.

I believe that this is more true, than not. Remember the "Obey instructions even if they do not seem practical" B.S.? This is just grooming the sheep to get them ready for the slaughter. In packing plants the animals going to their deaths know what is about to happen so they are forced down the alley way with no way to turn back until the stun-bolt kills them.

If you’re not there on time and they lock the doors, then you’re dead meat just like in the days of Noah.

I got that line from an eldurr. Because of a still-in very elderly parent who want to be at the KH for meetings I take that parent to the meetings. Because of their situation we are always late. The elder said it is up to me to make my elderly parent go faster and be on time because, "When God shut the door of t he ark no one could get in, and HE will eventually shut the door of the KH right on time." Sorry bast--d!

Is the door locked to keep people out or to keep people in?

I guess if you are a KH crasher, you should plan on getting to the meeting on time. Punctuality is important!!! lol

I went to the 'Memorial' this year and noticed an Elder guarding the door. I asked what that was all about and was told that it is now policy to LOCK ALL DOORS after the meetings have started and to post an Elder inside at the main entrance to allow in stragglers that he recognizes by sight.

Isn't that counter-intuitive? At least for the Memorial which doubles attendance and plenty of those people may be complete strangers.

The past few years there was no JW on our street handing out invitations to complete strangers.

As the JW pedophile issue becomes better known by the public.......... security will become a serious factor.

I see a new 'privilege' in the works............a brother who sits in front of a security monitor in the back of the hall or a separate room checking the parking lot, rear of the building, front entrance etc.

If I remember correctly, this was done in Germany already twenty years ago.

I talked to a PIMO elder who felt it had to do with these Videos of People coming in Halls and standing up and talking about how they were Molested by elders.

We have had that happen in our state.

''If they want to lock the doors of KH during meetings for security reasons, then what the heck are those legions of angels doing ?''

The John Newsome youtoube channel did a marvelous job on this a few weeks ago. ''why don't you call on Jehovah to stop the fire at the KH, instead of the fire department?'' he also stated ''why not call on Jehovah instead of the police to walk the apostates out of the KH'', he went on to say ''because maybe this Jehovah isn't there''

John's vids are very frank and to the point.
