My sister has a friend who does animal rescue work and she had this one cat who is blind and deaf. She had to keep the poor thing locked in a small bathroom in order to keep her safe from the other animals.

Well, I felt sorry for her being locked in tha small space. I only have Trixie inside and she loves cats, so, I brought her home with me. I've already started fallling in love with her and she will have plenty of room to roam around. When I get some new batteries for my camera, I'll take a pic of her for you all. She has the spookiest looking eyes. I hope she likes it here. My kids and I will give her plenty of love, that's for sure.

I found my kitty a long long time ago, some one had dumped her off in a parking lot. She was so tiny! lol and mean...but she has been a great pet for the most part....if I block out the times she peed on my stuff when she was mad at me...actually peed IN my purse when my daughter was born and she was feeling neglected...

    pets..gotta love them

WH you rock! That poor cat.

BTW for some reason cats seem to like peeing on plasticy substances, so watch out for your bags etc. I had a cat that used the toilet like any human would. Used to meow outside the toilet door then perch on the seat and aim smack bang into the middle, never missed. not bad for a male huh

Not all cats pee on your stuff when they are jealous. Mine goes and sits in a corner.

I suppose your cat will navigate a lot by smell. They have a keen sense of smell. Maybe you could help it by putting certain smells in places that would be important to it. A smell they don't like is citrus. This could go where you don't want it to go. Maybe one of your dirty old shirts placed where you want it to sleep. You can test it's reactions to various smells. It only takes a second for mine to react. Strangely, mine loves the smell of cinnamon. Just some thoughts.

SS, I've already began the process of familiarizing her to things. I've taken her to where I have her food and her litterbox. Both in the same room but far enough apart so she won't have to smell her box while she eats.

She is such a sweety. I've never seen a cat who likes so much attention.

Brummie lol, I'lll make sure to keep all plastic far away from this cat.
