I just turned 60. Crazy to think I made my first post here at 36.

64. I was told I wouldn’t make it to first grade in “this system”. My granddaughter starts first grade in 3 weeks. Mean Mr Mustard, can you also provide your DOB, SSN, and mother’s maiden name. lol 😁 Just kidding.

Old enough to remember 1975

St George of England
I too well remember 1975 and all the speculation in the years leading up to it. On 1st January 1976 I should have walked away but with wife, parents, in laws, family it would have been very difficult.
Almost 50 years on it's well too late but I can dream of what might have been.

Like Blondie, I’m ‘old enough’.
Raised Roman Catholic, came in late ‘70s. So much didn’t sit well but I left after that 1995 Generation teaching.
They had lost all credibility at that point as far as I was concerned.

Disneyland and I were born in the same summer.
Born in, figured out they were making it up in the early 80’s, but friends, family and social network were strong.
1995 I knew it was REALLY all BS. I did my own ministry not using mags, didn’t use NWT.
One day after a Sunday meeting I just stopped and never went back 23 years ago.
the ExJW community was vibrant locally which helped me and others immensely…I’m still friends with all I met back then, and all met here online.
Thank You again Simon for providing JWN, from the bottom of my heart. 🥂

By the comments here I’d say most would be in the over 50 bracket. That is why the conversation here, and subjects discussed, has so much more depth to it. Then say the likes of reddit. If there is something that I really want to know, this is by far, my first port of call. Love you all guys, you’re a huge source of support.
