Hassan was happy to jump on the Russian ban bandwagon when Lloyd interviewed him for it. He got massacred on social media with a ton of exJWs telling him they didn't appreciate his flippant, off-the-cuff opinion. Suddenly he was very reticent, seeing ~~his customer base~~ former cult members calling him out. I doubt he gave the ban two seconds of thought and just said the first thing he needed to say for a platform.
