Lloyd’s huge on bestowing significant sounding titles upon things that aren’t that significant. He’ll feign interest at whatever his “channel consultant” suggests, but he’s already decided upon what he is going to do and when. He’s also huge because he eats too much and doesn’t work, but that’s another story. OK - one more - A former collaborator of his ate with him at a buffet and described him as “eating like a pig”. Several plates, all full.

This is also a man who gave himself the title of Director and President of the JLE Translation Services when “Native English Proofreader” would have been more appropriate.

He's likely tapping some people for money directly.

Indeed he is, and he has made that fact clear, especially when he listed “PayPal - Most Urgent” on one of his begging tweets. He’s been advertising his PayPal credentials ever since he was on this forum begging for money to start JW Survey. There was also the unnamed donor who sent him a shit-tonne of money supposedly to keep the channel running before the begging stunts.

There have been some significant PayPal donors who have dropped, most notably Truth Seeker Atheist who made a video disowning him and his shenanigans. I know of a few more who have made monthly donations who have quietly stopped.

That he still retains some such donors should be of no surprise, though his main problem is he now has a reputation for not really needing the money as he once did, the loss of a major emotional manipulation for his fundraising - his wife and children, and not least his known penchant for spending what is donated on himself for luxury items.

Oh, and cheap hookers.

So it's been 10 days since he even posted anything on Youtube. Before that, just re-hashing old shit. What EXACTLY does this freeloader contribute to "the cause?" His ugly mug doesn't count.

I think he can't bring himself to do the work anymore. It is a chore. I'm curious if he will adopt a slow-but-steady output rate, or if content will appear in spurts (cough). How burnt out is he, that the simple task of talking into a camera for 30 minutes a week and uploading it has become so difficult?

I know Derek & Ina are busy & aren't doing the Patreoff this month, but this is very 'telling' on May 8th he had the same number of PAYING patreons. He hasn't gained any new patreons this month & kept them.

At this time last year he had a huge momentum swing in his favour after the begging stunts. He could have ridden that wave of goodwill by appearing to take the high ground, not respond to any criticism and “churn” out an amazing amount of content with Tibor at his side. He chose another path.

He was openly gloating about being immune from exJW BS in a tweet that did not age well and had popped into the comments on a livestream bragging about how he was untouchable. It was even more brutal in the comment section on his own videos. Lloyd the Bully had shown his fat face yet again.

Then he went on holiday and the frequency of videos actually decreased despite having over 250 new pledges.

In hindsight that was his last opportunity to turn it all around. He had an open net and could have kicked the easy goal. Instead he showboated it, attempted some fancy trick and missed wide.

It wasn’t about “saving lives” or even improving the content. Per usual his huge ego got into the way and people started seeing right through what he was all about. Again. An entirely new generation has arrived and noticed how this guy is making a few videos a month, droning on about shrooms and his comedy routines and always taking time to go on holiday (and then making a video about what he did on holiday). That is not conducive to gaining the amount of financial support he desires. In fact it demonstrates that he isn’t putting what he is getting now to the best use.

Lloyd Evans never misses an opportunity to prove to everyone that all the critiques about him are by and large true. What an incredibly arrogant and selfish dolt.

Fat Tony got out of WT HQ free and clear, and even got them to front him a home and a Golden Parachute, health insurance, living expense. He's OUT! Gone! Poof! Like smoke! He's sitting in his Lay-Z-Boy with a Scotch in one hand and a fistful of dollars in the other. He no longer has to worry about any of this cult bullshit. He can even grow a beard now, and no one will even think to call him an Apostate! Life is GOOD!

I can’t imagine any scenario where Tony Morris isn’t devastated to the off the GB. The small consolations you mention are nothing to a true believer, which I think Morris is, or was. Plus haven’t you heard the memo that beards are allowed? GB members have got them. Some even speculated Morris opposed this and other changes before he left.
