TOH He was more worried with building a presence and gaining attention and becoming a celebrity within the small world of exJW content, and hoping to branch out to researching religion and promoting atheism. All of that can be done, but the content always has to be the first priority, and it's clear that this wasn't the case.

LMsA He’d be absolutely slaughtered online should he ever attempt to start a political channel or podcast - which has been one of his longstanding goals to pivot out of JW content.

The problem with Lloyd is that he's completely uneducated - which would be fine if he was self aware enough both to understand his disadvantage & to get himself at least a basic grounding in political science/political theory, constitutionalism, democracy etc plus some wider philosophy/logic/ethics etc.

He needs to learn to construct decent arguments, rather than virtue signaling the latest buffoonery he's been brainwashed into parroting.

It might be clear to you what the Guardian gets wrong but it’s not clear to me that we are thinking primarily about the same things. They get some gender stuff wrong and I would be inclined to agree on that to some extent. But to me the worst thing about the Guardian has been its complicity in bringing down Jeremy Corbyn with false anti semitism allegations and thereby denying us any possibility of a genuine attempt at social democracy and ethical foreign policy in the UK. I also think they’ve been too soft in calling out the ongoing genocide. Those are the biggest problems with the Guardian as far as I’m concerned and I suspect they might not be your list. I am already aware of good critiques from a left perspective and it might be obvious to you where to find critiques from another angle but it’s not obvious to me.

So, we've now had several days since three major headlines which our "boy" could've covered if he was really bothered.

1) The news about Ramapo construction going ahead;

2) The statistical 'highlights' from the 2023-4 JW service year report;

3) The news about the Archbishop of Canterbury resigning over CSA in the CofE church - a story which has thrown the spotlight back on the inadequacy of IICSA, the inquiry which he was involved in (and was only too keen to be seen at - and to share his opinions with the world - at the time).

Yet... not a peep on any of those so far. But he has done another 'voicemail' item (recycling content provided by his audience) and made a video about "all the beard jokes at the Annual Meeting". So that's great then.

Short answer: He doesn’t care.

Long answer: He hasn’t cared since the end of his days on this forum and thought he’d be making bank on the AAWA scam. If one remembers, he got really upset when people told him it was a shitty name (originally “Association of Anti-Watchtower Activists”). He mentally checked out after all of that and blamed the community, and particularly - this forum. The only thing he cares about is himself and feeding his semi-employed lifestyle.

Have to hand it to him though. Think of all the blow-jobs, Star Wars toys and free all-inclusive holidays this community he so loathes has funded him for the past decade. If you have Max (formerly HBO Max), watch The Righteous Gemstones. Jabba the Hutt is a carbon copy of the oldest son of a grifting televangelist family. Dumber than shit, hideous face and figure, and thinks he’s the brains of the whole operation. You don’t even need to watch the whole series if you don’t want to. Watch series 1, episode 1. Pretty much a retelling of the whole Thailand scandal and this dolt’s inability to handle it in an honest and reasonable fashion.

Popped in here after many years of staying away. I can't believe this is still going on. You and the same handful of others have been saying for years that you want him to go away (or worse) and yet you've been following and reporting on his every move for what looks to be a weekly or even a daily basis, then you actually complain that he's not making enough videos for you to watch and criticize. Which one is it ? Kind of reminds me of the ones here who despise JW's but can't seem to let them go. Evans and the Watchtower are still out there. It's almost as if they aren't listening or don't care what you think. Could such a thing be possible? Seems so hateful...makes me glad, relieved actually, that I was able to move on.
