but he acts like he’s trying to compensate for something.

I will repeat it, although a bit controversial in some circles. I honestly think he is hiding his sexuality. We can all say, but it's cool to be some spectrum of LGBTQ+-+-+-, we need to factor in the indoctrination kicking in. Lloyd was thrown out of the twoooof, he did not leave on his own accord, so of course he will have a level of indoctrination and will keep his sexuality secret just in case he has the chance he can return to jeeehoooovahhh.

His 'girl friend' in Thailand looked male. Just my opinion, but I think it's a good one. A little honesty from Lloyd would be refreshing.

I watched part of one of his latest youtube videos. I lasted about two minutes before I clicked it off and turned on some music. He drones on and on and makes "a mountain out of a molehill." His greatest sin? He's boring. His faults are, in last analysis, offensive but ordinary. His videos are ordinary, even a bit on the 'lower side' of youtube quality. As a parent he's inadequate, but in a very ordinary way.

    Hi Thisismein1972.

You are probably right about Lloyd hiding his sexuality. However, in his videos and commentaries, Lloyd has left several clues which may also prove you right. He has admitted that his attractive wife didn't satisfy him sexually. Perhaps he married her thinking that this would "cure" him and make him hetro.

We know the JW religion doesn't tolerate gay people. If one doesn't conform, one is kicked out. So if Lloyd tried to conform, it didn't work out. Moreover, this would explain why, with some justification, Lloyd blames the Watchtower for tampering with his sexuality.

As far as I can tell the only thing to suggest he is gay was the choice of location for his sex holiday. But Thailand perhaps attracts men who like to exploit young and vulnerable women as well as trans so it’s not clear. I really couldn’t care less if he is gay or not, it’s not the point. In some ways it gives him a win if people make remarks about him being gay, whether he is or he isn’t, and he doesn’t deserve any sort of win.

I was kind of enjoying the fact that we all seemed to forget about him this month. Maybe he’ll sink faster into irrelevance at this point.

I’ve never bought into the “Lloyd is gay” talk. Like slim said, there are only hints such as his choice of Thailand with its notorious ladyboys, and I’d add his preference for anal sex and his lack of sexual chemistry with his wife. With that said, there is plenty of evidence he is straight - his incessant messages to female Instagram models and his infamous attempt to poach female attendees from a London speed dating event.

If anything, I’d say the Thailand trip was an attempt to explore his sexuality further. (Oh and also to rub his wife’s face into it and teach her a thing or two about telling him what to do in his personal life). Jabba the Hutt may have teetered on the edge of heterosexuality and even into homoeroticism, but we have to remember that the guy has such a victim mentality. If he were in anyway gay or more likely bi, we wouldn’t hear the end of how everyone is gay-bashing him for going to Thailand.

While I’m here, I might as well mention he’s at 319 patrons which leaves him at +9 from his last begging stunt. He had specifically asked for 576 pledges. The die is cast regardless of the activity or inactivity of this thread. No matter what stunts he pulls to get the numbers up, the results are only fleeting and they will always return to roughly 1/3rd of what he was or less. A day of reckoning should be upon him soon as he enters a time in his life where he needs to seriously plan for retirement. Is 319 + whatever he gets from YT going to be enough?

He has basically been retired for years now.

how much work is involved making a lame video every week or so?

those 300 fools who send him money will get less and less. He is in a country that he doesn’t speak the language what will he do?

There was another thread on reddit that popped up about Lloyd. I'd say maybe 3 people were defending him. One suspiciously looked like it might have been Lloyd himself. I'll also add to the chorus that Lloyd is likely straight. That's a really big secret to hide for a guy who is absolutely garbage at hiding secrets.

    Maybe all three were Lloyd?

How could anyone defend someone who betrayed his wife and kids with drugs and prostitution? How could you possibly defend that?

if anyone reads the letters and his sexting underage girls there is no way anyone would ever defend him.

To their credit, a large number of his supporters left after his confession livestream/video. At least one generous spender made it clear that Evans had abandoned the moral high-ground and this made it impossible to support him anymore. The only ones left at this time try to minimize or deny what Evans has done, even though these are actions and behaviors that he is admitting to, either in video or writing. So they pretend not to know.

I think that many of them are so grateful for finding a way out of the JW organization that they cannot see the issue rationally. I bet that they would see it clearly if it was anyone other than Evans. I bet they would see it really clearly if it was one of his critics. At some point, they probably will admit that Evans did not deserve their support after they learned about what he did. But confirmation bias is a very powerful thing.
