NK threats and rocket launches is a stage to proclaim to be the US and to the world that NK is a superpower. Like China and Pakistan NK wants to sit at the table with the big boys now. When Pakistan became nuclear, they proclaimed that they had a little gift for the US. The US said nothing.

People in the UK have funny accents, so nothing sounds right.

In Canada where everyone talks normal, except the French and people from Newfoundland.

    Guam and Bomb rhyme!.....

Surely, this is all just posturing on both sides?

Frankly it's hard to take either leader seriously, though, I do believe Trump would act on threats if he feels he has to.

Trump is now saying, he should have talked tougher.

His spokespeople were professional and able to "smooth over" his stupid threats to NK.

    Now he`s back at it?!!

Trump is now saying, he should have talked tougher.

    That's not what he said.

He said that maybe his statement was not tough enough. In other other words, maybe NK needs something tougher than a mere statement. When asked how can anything be tougher than fire and fury, he replied "We'll see."

Spoiletta: I don't think that the person that asked the question you referenced understood the President's implications. - What could possibly be tougher than the threat of blowing NK off the map? (Hint)

The President's reference to fire and fury in his initial threat to NK is an allusion to President Trumpman's message to Japan before dropping the bomb.

It is an axiom that if NK tried something, the US would act exactly the way the President said. NK knows this even if the President hadn't said it, so there is nothing extreme about his initial message. NK has continued to make threats against the US. The president has made it very clear to NK what to expect. The only thing tougher than a threat is not another threat but actions that speak louder than words. That's is how I interpret the President's message.
