North Korea cannot be allowed to have nuclear missiles, period.
This is all the fault of liberals like Obama and Clinton who have been soft on Korea for decades. I for one am happy the US finally have a strong president who will stand up for America and I am appalled (but not surprised) liberals keep making excuses for why it is such a great idea North Korea can nuke the US.

@Fisherman: They don't have ICBMs with nukes that can hit US mainland. At any rate the missile sites should just be bombed before they can be launched/completed. A first strike now will save us from Nuclear war down the road.
Just give them an ultimatum: If they attack the US, they get nuked to the Stone Age. Then take out the missile sites.

It's not as simple as that. North Korea is virtually holding South Korea hostage with a gun to its head. They have lots of guns pointed at Seoul and probably enough ammunition to bury the city with bullets and bombs. Any military aggression by the US is likely to be met with a response in the form of North Korea killing hundreds of thousands of citizens of US allies in the region.
There's virtually no way to take out all of NK's military might before they can retaliate. They have lots of secret underground military installations that can't be easily found, let alone reached by bombs.

Two points. First, the job of the president of the United States is to protect the US and not South Korea.
Second point: If we do nothing, this problem is going to be a million times worse in 10 years when the North Koreans got nuclear subs, nuclear ICMBs, etc. etc. At that point they WILL be able to attack South Korea and get away with it because they got nukes.
Trump has done the right thing and told North Korea that if they attack us or South Korea, they get nuked. Simple choice. It is about time to lay down the law.
The US didn't cave to the Soviet Union when it threatened with nukes and I don't think we should cave to a shithole of a dictatorship just because they threaten to attack another country.

it`s amazing how they can conveniently forget about their step by step lead up to the Great tribulation and Armageddon by their many books and publications for past decades , when there is an international crises that has nothing to do with what they have predicted previously.
Their will be an influx of attendance at all KH`s for now and in the foreseeable future ,or until this crises subsides.
North Korea has only said they will fire missiles into the sea near Guam and not on the mainland ,just testing the USA`s response.
And that is what they have done off the sea of Japan ,only sending missiles into the waters off Japan.
Also just testing and provoking the USA.
Crazy Kim's mistake is that he doesn't understand Americans. Even those who are 100% against war-mongering by Trump, will support Trump against a dickwad who taunts the US.
It's China that is "between a rock and a hard place". The US is China's biggest financial ally, and vice versa. Usually money Trumps everything else (pun not intended). No one in China or the US wants that relationship to suffer.

We need to stop constantly threatening to annihilate people - it cements the power position of bad-leaders in countries and actually makes their desire for nuclear weapons sensible.
Why do *we* have nukes? Isn't it to protect against someone else having them deciding to use them against us? If it's an acceptable and sensible solution for us, then we need to recognize why they would chose the same option. Especially when someone ("us") is making clear threats against them.

This is all well and good if you're willing to kill hundreds of thousands of South Koreans and possibly subject Japan to nuclear fallout on the unproven assumption that NK has nuclear missiles ready to go.
If you happened to be vacationing in Seoul with family and friends, would you be so ready to sacrifice your life and theirs on that assumption?
It's easy to be brave when you have nothing to lose.
