moving away from fossil fuels is a good idea, because they are not the future, and they are not unlimited. At some point, we face the simple fact that oil will run out sooner than the sun or the wind.
So, we need to continue to invest in research of products that are comparable and that don't rely on them. Even if currently creating electrical cars involves burning fossil fuels or mining of some metals, we don't just throw our hands up and say....well we give up.

It doesn't matter what you or I think or feel. The point is that the so called leaders of this country and this world will say anything to get votes and remain in power, and in they end, they will do nothing. The leaders will not let the economy be destroyed no matter what happens or not matter what the consequenses are. They will not give up any of their power or give up making money for themselves. It's all about the money to them, even if the enviroment gets destroyed. At the end of the day, do you really think they care what happens down the road after they are gone?
