Also Trump is running the place like a business. In my business we exclude people we don't like, we don't work with people who have screwed us over.
I think Trump needs to grow thicker skin and realize that in some respects he can't run the country like a business. That being said - a little respect on both sides would help the situation.

China was very upset with the Democratic party over how the election turned out. In their view censorship of the net is needed to have a tighter control over the people. These are the conversations they were having with Obama/Zuckerberg. Remember the Chinese are big supporters of the Clintons and the Democratic party as a whole.
Flipper - it's funny that you think Trump is insulting to Obama, but you don't see how Obama has insulted Trump? Or how the media has insulted everyone who doesn't go along with their agenda?
Respect goes both ways. If both sides were more respectful (L&R), and if the media and Trump were each respectful of the other, there would be more peaceful relations.

Obama has not been above ridiculing Trump though so it's hardly surprising. Also, although Trump is probably too far the other way, it wasn't healthy how there was a cabal of Bush's and Clinton's who all were supposedly on opposite sides politically but were really all best pals behind the scenes.
Trump was elected in part to put an end to this contrived swapping of the baton between cosy allies.
Yes, the way he says it is crude, but it's not as terrible as people are making out.
The Press put Trump center stage. They featured him. They lulled everybody into a false sense of inevitability for Hillary.
The PRESS is deflecting away from their culpability in this role of promoting the spoiler candidate who "couldn't possibly win."
A QUESTION I now ask of everybody:
Are Democrats and Liberals blame gaming instead of soul searching?
If so, is it because they STILL BELIEVE the PRESS was RIGHT?
FACT:
The Democrat Party suffered HUGE LOSSES at every level during President Obama's 8 years in office.
The grand total: a NET LOSS of 1,042 state and federal Democratic posts.
This includes congressional and State legislative seats, governorships and...last but not least...the Presidency itself!

I think that the press thought that Trump couldn't win, that Clinton was a done deal. So no harm making a few bucks along the way, getting better ratings by featuring him so much.

Suddenly, they want to hold the president to account and do real journalism.
Sorry, it just comes across as partisan because their favorite didn't win. If they'd done it when their guy was in office I'd be more impressed, but it seems like an excuse to just ramp up their partisan reporting with added victim-hood status thrown in, because that is what their crowd values.
TIP: watch PBS news - it's refreshing. No shouting and people take their turn to add to the conversation. How a discussion is supposed to be, not the Jerry Springer show that CNN too often dumps on us.
Simon. I totally agree with you on PBS. It's my favorite news broadcast. Doesn't it bother you you that it is perennially on the hit list for the far right? They are seriously considering defunding both the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
I guess the Republicans consider them fake news because they report the facts fairly.
