I agree that many, perhaps even most, thought that way.
But I also think that millions (if not 10's of millions) voted for him because they swallowed what he told them. He managed to convince West Virginia ex-coal miners and Appalachian ex-textile workers and Rust Belt ex-assembly line guys that their jobs would come flowing back if only they elected him.
If he makes it the full 4 years, and when (of course) those jobs of course fail to materialize, what do you think will happen?
