excuse the yellow. often kleptomaniacs, serial killers, can not be helped, sick individuaLS FIT ONLY TO BE REMOVED PERMANENTLY.
The laws are meant to be deterrents, clearly spelled out.
If the individual could not read, or not repay the seven sheep, because being a bad manager, he could pay his dept to society by contracting into long term organized labour. with guaranteed safety net. release, if desired, after 49 years. @ Jubilee.
Criminality will disappear with the disappearance of criminals.
Committing crimes is not a human right.
If there is one judgement day to fix that, once and for all, I am all for that.

All rights come from government. True, no government gives anyone the right to commit.
Murder all criminals as this will end all crime...until people who were not criminals previously to the mass murder commit a crime. Then a new judgment day for the next batch of murders is required.
Part of the issue is the egocentric thought that what a person does equals the person. People are not criminals - people commit crimes. Another issue is the punishment for crime may be labeled a "deterrent," but it is painfully obvious that it is not.
A human system of justice would protect a society while address the issues that drive the majority of crime. Harm is the issue. Not crime. The cure cannot be as bad or worse than the sickness.
Then we have laws against things that cause no harm to others or possibly even the self. How are the scales of justice balanced for people who do not use the crosswalk to cross the road? Do people who use Marijuana deserve a death sentence for possessing a plant that allegedly was created by a loving God? If someone borrows your Netflix login and password should they be forced to repay Netflix 7 times the monthly subscription fee?
The idea that a person has to be harmed for doing something unlawful is sadistic.

The idea that a person has to be harmed for doing something unlawful is sadistic.
It has to be brought to the criminals' attention what it feels like to be robbed, raped rapierd. The idea that there will be no appropriate consequences for criminality is mistaken.
sadly more concern for the criminal than the victims.
The barbarians are the criminals.

According to JWs, will Adam be resurrected to judgment, resurrected to glory ... or will he not be resurrected at all?
JW believe that after the 1000 years when humanity reaches perfection, each person will be tested like Adam was. Any perfect human that sins dies forever. JW believe that Adam was judged at Eden and sentenced to eternal death with no hope of a resurrection at this time because although the ransom applies to his sons, it doesn’t apply to Adam and Eve so salvation is not possible. But we also believe that the only ultimately judgment depends on God.How about people who died in the flood and those God destroyed in Sodom and Gomorrah?
Who knows? Some Jw believe yes and others no but WT has published both yes and no about this. -

Thanks Fisherman
The Watchtower has decided Adams eternal fate. I thought that was up to Jehovah?

A person can only know how a person feels if they have the same experienced. That is advocating for an eye for an eye. Been robbed? Rob the robber. Been raped? Rape the rapist. That is vengeance and a vengeance based justice system is unjust.
Not to mention punishing some does not help the person who has been victimized.
sadly more concern for the criminal than the victims.
Addressing the source of criminal behavior does not diminish helping the victims of crime. Does a person who commits a crime no longer have value as a human?
The barbarians are the criminals.
This is an ad hominem logic fallacy.

The Watchtower has decided Adams eternal fate.
It hasn’t. There is a difference between adjudication and interpretation.

Evidently Watchtower has judged that Adam is not worthy of a resurrection. Not only has the Governing Body determined that Adam will be eternally destroyed, but they also have judged that all apostates to their organization are not worthy of a resurrection and that 8 billion non-JWs will be eternally destroyed at Armageddon as well.

tbn. yes it helps the mental well being of the victims, aka closure,-- particular for the survivors of the acts of disgusting criminals, like the rapist murderer of their young daughter, or to have the life savings of a senior taken by a cyber criminal.
It is one thing to wait for judgement day. better and surer to see justice applied right now.
The Law might be an ass , in some cases. so: take the Golden Rule, Math:7:12.
applied to a murderous criminal. He/she by killing, invites, agrees to the same treatment upon themselves. "let it be done to me as I do unto others". better yet,
remove all criminals from civilized society and let them go at themselves, offer bounties.
justice for all, to each its own.
have a good judgement day.

Already explained that in a previous post.
Obviously, WT does not have power or authority to “judge.” But wt can interpret what the Bible says about how God dealt with Adam and will judge others in the future, and although wt can decide who can be df from the congregation for example, only God through his chief agent of life Jesus Christ has the authority to ultimately forgive and give everlasting life.
