For Psychedelic music try Terry Riley's "Poppy Nogood" or his "Rainbow in Curved Air".

"The Root" by Pauline Oliveros is also quite Psychedelic.

Or any music by David Hykes and his Harmonic Choir...

"Echoes" by Pink Floyd on the Meddle album. eerie sound f/x
Zep's "No Quarter" always seemed very disturbing to me (love it!)

I like all the music everybody has posted about although I'm partial to....

Dark Side of the Moon . Pink Floyd

    Physical Graffitti . Led Zep

    Woodstock (the org. album)

    Jimi Hendrix Experience (1st album)

    It's all good!

    Refiners,

If it is angry music you want you might check out the cd of Pantera's "Far Beyond Driven"

The sense of rage and anger could peel the paint off a wall.

Try downloading the song "Slaughtered" from KaZza as it is fairly representative of the whole cd.
