Look, the goal of these trolls is simply to waste your time and likely to count theirs. They obfuscate, deflect, and I've often wondered if they test new rebuttals and diversions in conversations like this. I don't know if they waste their time for their own edification, and I'm not normally a conspiracy guy, but I kind of wonder if the cult themselves doesn't send these people to test things that they might use.
Most of them will tell you nothing about themselves. They don't post in much of anything personal either, like they have commands not to interact at that level. They just post in anything about the organization, and they LOVE child abuse posts. They are often robotic in affect or angry, rarely much in between, and the robo-dubs post here for a season and disappear. There are patterns to their posts, they are obvious to spot, and they get super whiny if they can't keep you engaged. Obvious trolls are obvious. They won't answer direct questions about their feelings on child sexual abuse but rather they'll usually deflect, or just disappear on threads which earns them nicknames like Ducker. These robodubs are either just obsessive types or sent by the cult themselves. It's a fascinating foray into humanity, or lack thereof, though. -

Or if the man/woman molester/rapist cry hard enough and have enough clout in the org/cong they are given a pass and slapped on the wrist.They are no different than Catholics that move priests around who are known pedophiles. In the case of jw's it is worse because a parent who knows a jw molested their child are not allowed to warn other parents or the public at large because the borg hold their family/life/and often their livelihood hostage if they warn others. I have even read cases where the rapist eventually returned or was made elder at one point and the victim of the rape/molestation was made to endure this ass preaching from the platform.
You simply cannot defend the indefensible in this case, at least not to me and not to every non jw I have ever had a conversation with about this matter.
If you are still a jw you can find the courage to make a change in the org if enough of you decide that pedophilia is not what Christ would condone. YOU can decide your personal integrity is worth more than hanging onto this ungodly 'religion'. Yes, it will be hard when they hold YOUR family hostage. -

Our legal system lets convicted pedophiles back onto society on a daily basis.
They've proven to have fooled college educated parole boards, and nothing stops them from looking for their next victim. They also have re-offended, many times.

This moron can't see the difference in a legal system that takes action and gets people on offender registries and puts people in prison that does let some slip through the cracks and his beloved cult that at best takes the action of disfellowshipping someone and only protecting their own while ignoring many instances with archaic two witness rules and actively recruiting from prisons. They actively discourage many from going to authorities that can actually investigate and that are trained in favor of window cleaners getting nosy into things that are way above their pay grade.
And you wonder why we sometimes tell you to fuck off. This is the work of a troll. This is the work of someone that cannot have an honest discussion. This is the work of a spin doctor. This is the work of someone with a very sick mind that at best is more concerned with comparing his cult to any organization he can find with a similar problem rather than holding god's one and only chosen organization to a higher standard. This is a person that cares more for the appearance of his cult than the cries of desperate children, or the risk that they are put in when his cult brushes yet another accusation under the rug while not reporting to authorities that could potentially protect an entire community. But hey, other groups have problems, so it is okay for his cult to have even more cracks to slip through. You.....are........disgusting. And you're the same disgusting and disingenuous person that you've been through every iteration that you've come back with.

I think it's clear to everyone that we have a troll in our midst. He'll keep picking at posts with poorly thought out responses that are designed to antagonize. Or he actually doesn't realize how dumb his logic/arguments are. I prefer to think it's a personality problem. I know plenty of... "slower" individuals who are perfectly lovely and can stay on-topic without too much difficulty. GrreatTeacher is right on the nose about not feeding the trolls - not even scraps.
