Yeah, the ban on many things is to isolate people and take the joy out of life, and of course to make sure that any leftover income is available to be donated.
Enjoy your lights and the freedom they represent!

LHG;
The witnesses use the flimsy explanation that the holidays are of 'pagan origin'.
Bull shit.
Actually everything you do is of this " pagan origin'
I do think also that the ban on birthdays, Xmas whatever is to isolate its members,,, to make them feel this 'unique way" . And to provide a barrier between themselves non- witnesses & non- witness family and relatives..
🙂
How sad that you resorted to following the world.
It boozerford who implemented the ban on holidays.
And for the Borg it works for them. All those people they can keep their stronghold on. All those sheeples who dont go out and buy gifts,, decorations.
Birthdays same thing. And the rest of the holidays.
Enjoy the lights and music and sparkle of the season Stephane! It's a time to be playful and celebrate each other before the start of a new year.
"The world" got this one right. LOL
It's just decorative lights, Rattigan. Did you get up on the wrong side of the bed this morning*? You're being very picky and judgemental today.
Enjoy your lights, Stephane! 😁👌👍✨
* Saying with a possible pagan origin.
Is Rattigan being sarcastic?
I started putting up "sun worship" lights, knowing that they are to worship the sun, about 2 years after blowing off the boasting sessions. And I got many of them from Target, right where the jokehovian witlesses could have seen me getting them. And I started putting them up for Halloween and Easter a few years later. So far, no comments.
Not to mention other items for the area near the entrance of my apartment unit. I have fake fireworks out there in late April, some color changing lights (including with fiber optics), some fake fireflies, and fake flowers that light up at night. Quite bluntly, I do not give a f*** what the jokehovians think of them--there are youngsters in my area that enjoy these lights, and I care more about what they think of them rather than what the hounders think. If joke-hova hates when people have any fun, that is too damn bad for that hyper-abomination.
I've haven't been bothered by the elders and have been putting out lights for 20 years. I faded 30 years ago and still haven't been DF'd.
My now deceased dad always said while laughing, "this is the perfect time for Jehovah to bring armageddon. All he has to do is look for the houses with Christmas lights and then he knows who to destroy."
Ahhh the good ole days.
Currently my JW sister gets upset this time of year because worldly people are not suffering and are actually having fun and celebrating. LOL
I'm a ubm, I like to puts lights up while he is gone doing jw things. So yeah, like every meeting, fs or whatever in Dec he never knows what he will come home to as far as new Christmas decorations or lights. Bwahahaha, Merry Christmas everybody!
(don't judge, we all have our guilty pleasures)
