This is just a sampling of the 33,000 denominations of Christianity in the US. Surely no God would be so incompetent as to inspire a book for humanity that no humans could understand or agree upon.

However, if the Bible is nothing more than a collection of various mythologies and histories cobbled together by ancient men - then such confusion is exactly what we'd expect to see.

That is religion for you, Theology (talking about "Theos "god"). by contrast, astronomers found that some black-hole spin orientations are aligned in different galaxies over 100 megaparsecs. (~ 100 million times further than the closest star.) apart.

This is something that I told my wife a while ago when waking up. That just the mere idea of 'God' creates such confusion, violence, and other "fruits" if you will, how can it be good? It's not one single doctrine, its this Abrahamic bully god. If people took away what they want form the bible without influence form any religion, if they believe it, the take away would be bad.

Here are two galaxies crashing together. Why would an orderly god crash two galaxies into each other?

Because the Universe is the product of both chaos and order. One infinitesimally small thing gave birth to a zillion things just like one religious leader gave birth to a zillion denominations.

Don't worry, Jesus has a plan.

Religions are like toilet paper. There are many different brands to choose from, but once you get involved enough, you realize they are all just full of crap.

Vi: "Here are two galaxies crashing together. Why would an orderly god crash two galaxies into each other?

Wonderful things happen when galaxies pass through each other. when Andromeda will meet the Milky Way, the closest star will not be 4 light ears, but 2 light years away. may be we will become a dual star system. New stars, planets forming, new youth evolving. Existence is great enough, without the dogmas, the ceremonies.

I find Christ quite simple and non confusing. No stupid rules, no intrusion into every minute detail of one's life, love God, do good to others. How hard is that?

I find Christian groups to be a bunch of fools when claiming their way is the only true and right way. Rules out the behind, judgement of everyone of another group, hostile and plain mean sometimes. Certain points in history, outright murderous.

Christ had "a way", not you ... and we can read about it for ourselves.

With most organized religions it's about having power over others. Christianity today is no different. So yeah, confusion galore.
