I got a message from the person who wishes to remain anonymous to clear a few things up.

Got it wrong the offender was 17 when he left his step parents home and moved in with his girlfriend .

so last abouse was when he was 17.

He is now an M.S and not many people in his congro know of his past.

In this country its hard to prosecute the offender whithout the victoms laying a complant.

The fact that the W.T.S refuse to remove from the letter that follows him is that it was consensual.

Child abuse investigations are a specialty investigation. Elders HAVE ZERO expertise in this area and have really botched up many cases over the years. Leave it to the professionals. You may ruin innocent peoples lives, or.... botch a crime scene.

Talk with your daughters. Find out if it truly was consensual or if it was against their will.

If consensual, not much can be done. If it was against their will, talk to them about filing a police report. It may be very difficult for them to do that, but express to them that it is very necessary to do ( while difficult), so as to protect any other girls that may become his next victim.

Once the police report is filed, I would then begin a public campaign to bring his crimes into the light. Social Media posts, letters posted at KH, word of mouth to any JW 's you know in his congregation, his wife & family & his employer. Don't leave it up to the elders or the Branch to act, because they won't.

@karter at the age of 17 there may be a case to get him prosecuted as an adult depending on your jurisdiction, but proving it, prosecuting etc is hard. Best thing to do is report to the police and present them the letter you get from the elders, in many places, elders are required by law to report any allegations and them not doing it is a problem for them.

I wouldn’t expect much if this has been a long time ago, at that point you may decide to get the media involved, reach out to a few journalists, even a small win there will help show people who the JW are.
