I'm not feeling too good about myself today. No particular reason. Just feeling down in that I'm-a-bad-person-and-I'm-going-to-burn-in-hell-when-I-die way. Some of the old messages just don't seem to go away. The gift that keeps on giving.

So what do you do to cheer yourself up when you're down? What helps you pull out of bad feelings?

I guess all of us on this forum will burn in hell together, unless we repent and go back to the kingdub hull.

I'm waiting for Farkel to lead the way...

Big T...think what you would be doing if you weren't who you are now...bets have it that you would be going or studying for meeting....If that doesn't cheer you up I don't know what would..*LOL* Try not to be down on yourself...perhaps you need to go out and do something fun...strip clubs are always good for morale I hear.. Really though, I know its hard to remember you are the better for moving on with your life...but, just remember there's pleanty of people around in your cheering and cheering up section..Have a better day and cheer up old bean!

    Sincerely,

(((((((((Big tex)))))))))) Dude, I hear you, I feel your pain.

This week is a really bad one for me. Hearing my grandmother whom I love dearly say I needed to "get right and get back with the group" cause my being outside is "breaking her heart" is not a fun time :( Especially knowing that we nearly lost her recently, and she is in very ill health.

If that doesn't make you feel bad about yourself, nothing will.

I am combatting it by catching up with old friends, reading old posts I've written, and realizing that while I still have these 'basement' days, that they're fewer, and farther between. I have come a long way, I try to remind myself of that. I'm also trying to listen to comforting music, and trying to keep myself, and mind busy.

When it starts working, I'll let you know...

When I'm down the best pick-me-up is to be outside (if the weather is nice). I get a pop at the 7-11, take a walk along the river - or, if I have the moola I head to the theater, buy a popcorn (lots and lots of butter), a pop, a candy bar, and take in a flick. Movies are great because it transports you to a whole other world and you can forget about your worries for a while.

I take a great deal of comfort in my children. I think yours are probably great, too. Take a minute to go tell them how much you love them, and then bask as they return your love and say "I love you, too, Daddy."

You are a kind, sensitive, loving man, Big Tex, and Nina loves you, too.

I am so excited to see you posting today! You've been missed!

Love and hugs to both of you,

I hope things get better for you. I find that talking to certain people always cheers me up. Whether it be online, on the phone or in person, having someone I can vent these probs to always helps me. I find that things get better before they get worse

    Many Hugs and Much Love.

Its horrible when we get days like this.....

Somedays I want to be left alone, but my kids keep me going... I am not allowed to be down for too long...Mr NW keeps me smiling.. but somedays it is really hard.... but I keep trying.....He knows though to just let me get over whatever is bothering me.

So do whatever you feel you have to do, but make it a BIG TEX day, wallow, whatever, or just watch that lovely tree in your front garden grow...

But know that you have some terrific friends on here, and we all share the same boat somedays.. lets hope that the good days outweigh the bad...

Just know that you are not alone, and tomorrow is another day, and you will feel so much better.

    Thinking of you

    Mrs NW (Cath)
