Fisherman's "expertise" is in rendering as personal decisions that were made in blind obedience to JW organization's directions. Funny that, as soon as the organization subsequently makes provision for "conscience", JWs go along with that. Whichever way you spin it, JW organization has blood on its hands.

Is there any other possible conclusion? -TD
I don't know. But what JW have concluded on their own regardless of what WT says is that WT is backed up by Almighty God. JW say that they know this for a fact. But I feel devastated to learn that someone actually has died because of adherence to WT erroneous doctrine.

It is true that the Witnesses have made mistakes in their understanding
of what would occur at the end of certain time periods. -Hecce"Doctrine," Aye, there is the rub!

My own mother gave up her life when she refused a BT -Fink
Thank you for kindly posting that Fink.

The reality is that the WTS's doctrinal mistakes can still be commercially advantageous and successful creations for the circulation of its own publications.
Why is it that the many self proclaimed chosen and spirit directed men from separate organizations, make contradicting and opposing doctrines ?

Take a look at page 215 in the 'Organized to do Jehovah's Will' book.
The Questions for baptism are found there:
On the basis of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, have you repented of your sins and dedicated yourself to Jehovah to do his will?
Do you understand that your dedication and baptism identify you as one of Jehovah's Witness in association with God's spirit-directed organization? So basically, we dedicated ourselves to the organisation that makes things up as needed for financial self preservation...
If it was truly 'spirit-directed', there would be no mistakes or corrections needed. 'New Light' proves there was no direction. Their most recent admission proves they cannot be trusted.

Thank you for that. That's very kind.
At the time, JW parents were being told that a child who received a blood based preparation and died would likely not be resurrected, which is something I'm not sure how any human could presume to know.
The sad thing is that IgG and albumin (Either as an adjuvant or excipient) are ubiquitous in medicine today. If you accidentally step on a nail or otherwise suffer a deep puncture wound from a metallic object, what do you do? If you're like most people, you go to an urgent care facility and receive a tetanus booster, which typically contains both. Nobody, including the majority of JW's even thinks about it anymore

So they have just admitted 8 million people are "following men"?
Does the bible say anything against that? :)

TD:
WT taught in the past that Genesis "Creative Days" were 7000 years each. WT also showed in wt publications how C14 dating could not be trusted... Well back in the mid 70's, scientists faked some human fossils claiming to be (trillions of years old LOL,) anyway, an article came out in the New York Times, back then, front page, exposing the fraud, Conclusion? Can't trust archeology; they are fakers, worshipers of evolution; they have an agenda. And so,as a result of that scandal, many uneducated (religious) people did not even want to consider C14 dating, totally rejecting it as untrustworthy. A person's credibility can be ruined also if such resorts to deception -but that is another topic.
But in the late 1980's, the wts changed its teaching on the length of each Creative Day to millions and millions of years -in light of the facts, and the wts also teaches now that the earth is billions of years old, also in light of the facts. Well, according to Bible chronology, the date of the flood is 2370 BCE and only a couple of thousand years earlier, the creation of Adam. Have you ever written an essay on Bible chronology "vis-a-vis" with verifiable scientific evidence? Also, what is your opinion on the Bible date of the flood, the flood, and the Bible date of the creation of Adam based on pure verifiable evidence. Coming from you it would be very interesting to read.
