Here in Bonita Springs, Florida it was in the 40's last night and in the high 60's today. Now that is really cold for us who have orange juice for blood. It is going to get colder over the next few days. Down to the 30's at night. I moved from the Pittsburgh, PA area four years ago and don't miss the cold up there.

We've been in the -teens F. overnight and during the day at times. We can handle it though, I feel bad for people where they get hit with cold temps that they are not prepared for, like happens in FL occasionally.
-18 for meeting on Sunday. They do not cancel for anything here.
I knew a CO (in another area) that cancelled for snow and inclement weather quickly because they had a mentally handicapped person die getting hit by a bus during a snow storm in one of his congregations. Before the death, they were proud of never cancelling.
Here in Gippsland Vic, AUS.today is in the mid 20c and we expect 40c this coming Saturday.
How do you guys survive in -30 to -40 below freezing i`ll never understand wind chill or not.

It's cold enough to freeze the knickers off the vicar's wife if he isn't wearing them himself.
It's so cold out on a pond near our home a flock of ducks feet were frozen in the pond all of a sudden they took flight and took the pond with them. Lol. Still Totally ADD
in the SE us it was 17 yesterday morning and 13 today. I do have to go to work brrrrr.

Blizzard today in Southern Connecticut, USA with sub zero wind chills predicted and a foot of snow, but nowhere near as bad as where my 90-year-old JW in-laws live in Fredonia, New York. They are only an hour north of Eire, Pennsylvania where they have had 7 feet of snow since Christmas!
Live in southern California, where this time of year temperatures are generally mildly cold (45-75F), but real estate prices are brutally high...why that is you may ask.
In any given weekend, if I want the beach I only have to drive for 30 minutes. If I want the mountains and snow, I only have to drive for 50 minutes. If I want the desert, I just walk to it. If I want the forest, I just drive for 60 minutes. If I want to see Mickey Mouse, just drive for an hour.
It all sounds good... doesn't it?... until you have to go to work 20 miles away and takes you 90 minutes to get there, and ninety minutes to come back... five days a week.
