  the very notion of using that phrase in conjunction with the christian congregation

  The phrase is not even in the bible. Although the WTS does connect the citation from Acts 15 to it, look it up and see what it reallly says. That is why the WTS never puts quote marks "" around the phrase, because it is not a quote from the bible. "1985 The Bible provides only limited detail about the composition of the early governing body, most of the information being in Acts chapter 15. That account indicates that in 49 C.E. the group of men forming the governing body consisted of “the apostles and older men in Jerusalem.” Who were these?​—Acts 15:2, 4, 6." I have found few jws or ex-jws who notice this. I have asked them to show me in the NWT where this phrase is used and that take me to Acts 15 and are very surprised to see those words are not there. Now the WTS says the trinity doctrine is false because the word "trinity" is not in the bible...hyprocritically. "1968 Many religions of Christendom teach that God is a “Trinity,” although the word “Trinity” does not appear in the Bible. "

  it's interesting too that paul's home base wasn't jerusalem

  his commission and territory assignment didn't come from some "governing body" there

  neither did the other guys' assignments, like philip or steven

  they went where the spirit directed, not where some "GB" directed

  the group that helped organize a donation for widows and orphans is not the same as some kind of spiritual hierarchy

  god's organization is in heaven, jesus is in heaven, the angels are in heaven

  they are "god's organization" that helps people on earth know what to do

  jesus said "i will be with you all the days" and "i will send the helper, the holy spirit"

  he didn't say "i'll send the fds/gb"

  he said to stay away from dangerous scheming men like that
