REVEALED: Ex-Jehovah's witness turned model, 45, left a video and suicide note blaming childhood sex abuse and exclusion from her religion for killing her husband and children

Lauren Stuart of Keego Harbor, Michigan had been researching suicide methods on YouTube and videos on how to use a Glock for weeks

Harbor, 45, shared a video calling herself 'broken' and adding that she didn't want to burden her family any more before killing them on February 15

She left a note on her dinner table and tidied up the home before texting loved ones and her husband's boss

Her last act before the killings was to turn over all the family photos on a secretary desk

Police say Lauren Stuart, 45, shot and killed her husband Daniel, 47, and their children Steven, 27, and Bethany, 24, before turning the gun on herself

Lauren made a video describing her 'path of destruction' and dealings with sexual abuse at the expense of a family member that pushed her toward suicide.

Well, she faithfully held to Watchtower doctrine till the end. Good for her.

“The first shall be last, and the last shall be first” Mt. 20:16

The Watchtower doctrine explains this scripture y saying the most recent to die will be resurrected first. So, she has ensured that her family is going to be resurrected at the same time so that they can be happy together in “the New System “

I’m not sure about what she was thinking with regard to the poor mutt. Dogs don’t get a resurrection in Watchtower theology. Perhaps she thought that it might take time for the authorities to find the bodies and she was concerned that the dog would get hungry... and start to eat her husbands face.

Granted these are media reports but I am left amazed at the level of shallow journalism in the reports that simple-mindedly perpetuates this unfortunate woman’s “victimhood”.

I am personally troubled that a victim of childhood sexual abuse would use being a victim of that crime as some sort of twisted rationale to murder her husband and children.

Imagine if it were the husband who had murdered her and their two children after disclosing he had suffered sexual abuse as a child? Society would immediately denounce his monstrously twisted reasoning.

As an adult, this woman was able to choose whether to live or take her life due to unquestionably tragic circumstances (e.g., child sex abuse victim, disfellowshipped from JWs) but taking others lives, especially her children’s, is an act of unconscionable violence out of all proportion to what she herself went through. She was sexually abused as a child so inflicts on her son and daughter an even worse abuse!

The sooner there is swift and unequivocal condemnation of this woman’s grotesque reasoning, the more clearcut society will be about speaking out against ALL kinds of child abuse, of which hers was the worst kind - violently robbing her own flesh and blood of their very lives.

Unfortunately this action by her and the note she left will just be used by the JWs as proof that you shouldn’t leave their cult. Nothing in the details about her sexual abuse or anything that could show that their teachings and actions could have drove her to this end.

The cold blooded response fromher family didn’t surprise me.

Another appalling tragedy, the result of convoluted reasoning, guilt and cultic teachings. The woman was still a believer in the JW belief system though excluded from fellowship.

I once had it explained to me by a sister who cheerfully reasoned that it was better to die to avoid the problems of remaining faithful and having to endure the stress of surviving Armageddon. I had to show her that this was a serious mistake and mentally unhealthy.

If you belong to a religion which puts “belief” and obedience to the Watchtower as the prime good above the value of the one life you experience-- as the JW cult does, it is not surprising that suicides and family murders will continue in this community.

Lauren’s father told police that he had not spoken to his daughter in years and that her mother died when she was 13. He said that he never cared for her husband and that he believes “Dan pulled Lauren away from the family.”

One of Lauren’s sisters told police that she had not spoken to Lauren in six years and that she, too, believes “Dan pulled Lauren away from the family.” She told police that Lauren and her husband both suffered from mental illness and that they “fed off of each other.” She said her sister was deemed “Apostasy” for speaking out against the JWs and leaving the organization.

Sometimes my heart wells up with so much despair that it hurts to just beat. Lauren's father and sister sound almost GLAD about what happened. I'll bet Lauren knew that they would react this way, too. The top reason for people taking their own lives is when they believe their existence is doing their family/loved ones a disservice and that those around them would be better off without them.

To Lauren's father and sister: you have BLOOD on your hands. Your sociopathic approach to kinship was undoubtedly a driving force behind this heinous tragedy.

“(The sister) showed a very solemn and somber demeanor when she spoke and stated that she is not sad for Lauren and her family and that when she heard the news of her sister’s actions, she was not surprised in the slightest.”

Yep, that's Jehovah's loving people right there. No compassion for any of them.

So rather than helping two people whom they claim are mentally ill, plus the two children they have together, they reject them, refuse to speak to them or have any contact with them.

“By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves.” - John 13:35

Wow, that quote you listed Dubstepped is disturbing.

Its so eerily similar to the comments that the father of children slain by their grandfather in a murder suicide in Western Australia said this week!

He was quoted as saying "I'm not sad. Don't be sad for them" or words to that effect!

Are those with JW indoctrination that heartless??
