The WTS stopped using the phrase "Jehovah's Christian Witnesses" in 1986. I was told there was that a group of ex-jws copyrighted that name. Think this is their FB page and in "about" they identify themselves as to being "jehovah's Witnesses" Jehovah’s CHRISTIAN Witnesses Help Hotline PO BOX 9784, Wyoming MI 49509. We are NOT Jehovah's Witnesses.

Call me cynical, but I always feel these arguments, views or statements are a bit 'pantomime baddie'.
You know, where the baddie is behind the goodie and the audience are saying, 'He's behind you!'
Goodie: 'Oh, no he's not.'
Audience: 'Oh, yes he is.'
...........and thus it could go on ad infinitum.
One 'scholar' says, 'Oh no it isn't'
Another, 'Oh yes it is.'
In the end, doesn't it just come down to our confirmation bias, which one of these PAID writers we believe?
That's why I never enter these debates.

@ Blondie - I wonder if the "Jehovah's Christian Witnesses" can imitate the the WTBTS/JW's and sue for breach of intellectual property.
As late as 2017, the registered name of "Jehovah's Christian Witnesses" has been plagiarised by JW's:

KM 4/1979 p. 4 " ● Is it appropriate to have a Kingdom Hall sign saying: “Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Christian Witnesses”? So there will be uniformity, the Society encourages all to make their signs read: “Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.” Also, that is probably why the WTS changed to Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses too. Last time that phrase was used as a direct term was in 1986.

If the 3 are coequal, (& God) why do people only have to get to know 2 of them, and not all three?
John 17:3: "Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent."
If they're all equal, (& God) how can someone be forgiven for slandering one of them, but not the other?
Matthew 12:32: "Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come."
