Is there a karma for being an elder? Is there a karma for knocking on peoples doors and selling god? Is there a karma for being sucked in by a religion? Do those that did the sucking get karma for their part? Is life tit for tat?

From my viewpoint, that is the sticking point in the 'karma' way of looking at life...

Well, maybe you're getting your karma now,,,,, ,but wait! the rich bastard who gets everything his way ... oh, his karma will come later ....... etc. etc.

Where is the equity in karma? I just don't get it.

I think karma is supposed to be about learning the ultimate lessons...like a training ground. And once you have reached your absolute potential..you go somewhere better.

Seems pretty screwey to me...where is this place we will go to? And what if you NEVER learn this supposed lesson? Does that mean you spend eternity in ground hog day?

And what about all these new people that are born? (sometimes referred to as 'new souls'). If you are bad and come back as an ant...how do you be good as an ant to come back as a higher being. What life lessons do you learn as an ant or a cockroach or a flea or a fly?

Or is karma not connected to reincarnation?

My understanding of the issue of karma, is that it has many schools of thought .. so, as with most belief systems, ,,, at one poiint , a "suspension of belief" is required ; ie, faith ... it's at that point that they 'lose me'.

I believe if you sow a field of wheat, this is what you are going to reap. If an enemy comes at night and plants something else, you will also reap that.

Lesson: don‘t allow any enemy near your fields.

If it is any consolation to you, all he will ever reap are bad weeds.

If he had good wheat himself, he wouldn’t occupy himself sowing anything in somebody else’s field in the first place. He would spend the night sleeping happily.

How do I do that? Do I kill them? I'll get bad karma for that.
