Like the one in Tennessee, this one in Maddison, WI, was done be a female. The police chief points out that:

He continued, “I don’t think that whatever happened today has anything to do with how she or he or they may have wanted to identify.
I hope this is not another gender confused teen turned mass murderer.
I think she was an extreme feminist who hated men and a copycat Columbine wannabe.(shirt)
One thing we know for sure is she isn't MAGA, Christian, white supremecist, American nationalist or anti abortion. Otherwise all the details about it would have been released already and be playing nonstop on national media.
I would wait until law enforcement and the local media put forth a more realistic reason/info. Guessing it and posting it here is of no good use to anyone. I doubt that any of your guesses are correct. I live closer to this than I care to reveal here. Guessing about a criminals motive and gossiping about friends in the hall are a little different IMO.
moomanchu, I did not say it never happens, but it is more likely not for that reason. Maybe not, I know jws that reputations were ruined by gossip, business, said to have committed horrendous acts, so took their own lives. I should have said slander, this is not some gossip like whether a sister should be pioneering. The people killed have families and sharing such guesses, is very harmful, even here to those unknown readers or jws coming here. There is a reason why gossiping is said to be like stabbing someone in the back. I am still embarrassed to see these unsupported guesses are not informative. When there is more information from sources with the contacts to know, like law enforcement investigating, then share that.
You're right I do not know her motive and guessing is a waste of time.
I only read my guess from a random poster who seemed to have some inside info.
So all we know right now is she is a POS scum bag murderer.
On the plus side though, no money wasted on court or imprisoning her.
Curious to me how you sympathize with the murderer's family.
The fact that she is female is shocking. It is mostly males who do this kind of stuff. Testosterone is a powerful chemical and helps men be strong and aggressive when that is called for.
The last big school shooting was a female who thought she was a man. I presumed she was taking male hormones. At least that helped make a little sense of the tragedy.
I hope this is not another such situation, but if so, perhaps it’s time to take a look at changing teenagers natural chemical makeup.
Looks like there is a manifesto circulating on the internet attributed to her. It is a very dark diatribe against humanity in general and her parents in particular.
If it is really hers, she stated that she had planned to commit suicide for a long time but felt that perpetrating a shooting would be “better for evolution rather than just one stupid boring suicide.

Sorry, I read that wrong.
It doesn't make sense to me that you think a murder motive guess would somehow be harmful to the victims families or others? I don't get it. I'm sure they are guessing themselves as to why it happend.
BTW legally you can NOT slander a dead person no matter what you say about them. But really you think me guessing a murderers motive will damage their reputation????????? Oh no, the poor murderer's reputation is now ruined, you tried to guess their murder motive. Get real.
