Actually, I forgot a key 🗝️ element of busy work from days gone by, the Kingdom Hall quick builds. They don't even have that to keep the sheep occupied anymore.

The Jw's can work their jobs, overtime because of shorter meetings, No more hour requirements. The Borg needs more money! It's their main motivation.

Blondie, just as Sauron would rather have Hobbits as miserable slaves than happy and free, wouldn't the GB rather have JW time taken up by working "for the kingdom" than spent lying on the beach?

NorFormer, it is just a little "joke." But then I have known of jws that go to the beach with small pamphlets to hand out to other beachgoers (to people on 2 person chairlifts (snow) as well. Or the jw grandfather that took walks on the beach talking about the "kingdom" to his unbaptized young grandfather.
