I was a JW for nearly thirty years, I felt like a "lame duck" when I left, but now I have got a life at last!
I have only just got a computer, so please bear with me - I am learning to type too !!
The lies going on, the definate lack of love, the treatment paedophiles and their victims, UN. etc made me realise the falsehood in that Society. At first I thought it was my fault for the way I felt, but after reading Ray Franz's two books I realised that lots of others were in the same situation which really opened my eyes.

Hey Kaz, welcome to the forum, from a Canadian member of the forum.
So very glad you are here.
As for the posts etc., I know there could be several reasons you may not see it where you'd expect it to be, but Simon has been busy tweaking the forum and stuff...so no worries, it'll eventually show up where you placed it.

The 'friends' section isn't quite finished so you'll have to wait a few days for your posts to show up there under normal circumstances. The page you look at if it's bookmarked is the default page which only updates every few days. One way around this is to force your browser to go to the next page manually. If you look at the address bar you will see the word 'default' at the end of the address. Replace this with the number of the next page you want to go to, for example:
