I almost forgot...the long list of currently active COs & their wives, retired DOs & their wives, retired COs & their wives are all included in this questionnaire/survey being sent to Special Pioneers!
Imagine a billion dollar corporation asking its elite employees to update them on the amount of personal hygiene/care products such as tissues, paper towels & toilet paper they use on a monthly basis.
WT's need to know how Jah's dedicated donated funds are being used is too comical!

Watchtower is always got it's hand in someone's pocket book for their own interest. I went from being a broke Jw to a business owner and faded from the Jw's. Now, the nerve of the elders coming around saying that I'm materialistic in then from the other side of their mouth they tell me that my riches are from Geehovah and I should give some of that to the organization. After all I dedicated my life to Geehovah (the Organization) and I owe them something. I have been faded for over ten years.

- Cost Of Living Survey seems to indicate upcoming layoffs or on the horizon.
- "... many have chosen to get vaccinated to reduce their risk." GB pushed "no one", everyone was forced only by their own fear. Thus, GB (with their Update videos) can't be held accountable.
This sudden opening of the halls, or resuming in person meetings in full (no transition period), within such short time is very suspicious. The announcement method was a first of a kind, bypassing elders, leaving them very little time to do all these changes worldwide. Something's definitely up
- Do they want to collect mo' money by doing so? It doesn't seem to be the main concern but who knows, this is chess.
- Is it because they want to open halls before spring, let the disease spread all over and then finally "decide" to close the halls indefinitely? This will prove amhaareets that the only way to continue is by Zoom, seen the fragility of the herd; later it becomes obvious that the halls need to be sold so that more studios can be built.
- Are they preparing the way to layoff many of their "elites" (outside US most probably) or somehow force them to quit?

The big churches protect their "monks, priests and nuns" - by allowing them to stay in the monastery all their lives. So, of course, the churches also have an overview of what the costs are. (evil world of Satan)
The JWs throw very most of their "old ones" rudely out of the Bethel and give them the status "special pioneer". From now on, it becomes difficult to keep track of the costs incurred. (spiritual paradise of Jehovah)
My guess: A low mean will be formed from the total monthly costs reported back and that will be the future maximum allowance for special pioneers. These will then have to see to it that they live and reside very cheaply.
There are ways to scrimp. Patch shoe soles with cardboard, cold showers, bathe only on Saturday, turn heat down, wipe with fewer layers, dry and reuse dental floss.
Just ask the government, they know how peasants should Iive.

They send these out every year.
In a previous congregation we had special pioneers, and they had to fill them out.
The WTS wanted to see if the SPs could still survive on $Pittance / month, or if they needed to update the amount to $Pittance.25 / month.

But it goes a long way to make sure everyone is "social distancing".
