TRUE STORY: My little 5 year old daughter was being babysat by a JW sister who had a little, cute dog. The dog put his teeth into her little fingers and bit her. When I picked her up, the babysitter told me what happened and how she didn't need stitches, etc. My daughter, on the way home, told me that she couldn't understand why the little dog bit her since it was "a Jehovah's Witness dog".

I'm glad they didn't substitute "parent" for "pet".

In case you want a true question, it was asked to me when I was a book study conductor, by an old sister:
"Is it wrong of me to let my cat down into the basement during night to catch mice? Eating mice means eating blood, and nobody is supposed to do that, or what?"

Hippie, I would have asked if this cat ever got baptized or became at least, a congregation publisher. It would appear that this kitty is "worldly" and therefore not our responsibility.
