    Yes...

In Europe, the right to a fair hearing is guaranteed by Article 6(1) of the European Convention on Human Rights, which is said to complement the common law rather than replace it.

Interesting they speak to you as a 'sir' and not a 'brother'. Any outcome of a meeting is already fixed.

Would be fun to bring some reporters though :-D

And we see that they are not doubting the "report" from that sister, nor seeking clarification as to whether the accusation is correct!

They have already determined your "guilt".

    Dear Brothers,

So XXXX says I have had sex out of wedlock. Really? Have you another witness to this accusation against me? If not then is not the procedure set out for Jehovah's Witness elders is that the body should ask two elders to investigate, not to set up a judicial committee.

    Yours etc ...

This makes me want to send a certified letter to the elders that DF'd me threatening a big lawsuit.

They would go total coward when the 'Legal Dept' hangs up on them...

I also told them, in my judicial committee, that I would sue them and the leading elder just laughed. He's right; there's nothing you can do in the States. If there were you would need to have your attorney send them a letter on his letterhead. That might get their attention.

Yeah what Freddo said. If there's only one witness to anything you said or did, just deny deny deny. They can't do shit. That's what the pedophile elders have done for years, and it's worked wonders for them.
