But they did get those dates wrong.

That doesn’t disqualify them as God’s org or falsify their correct understanding of the Bible.

That doesn't disqualify them? Seriously? I thought the Bible makes it clear in Deut 18:20-22:

20 But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded him to say, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, must be put to death." 21 You may say to yourselves, "How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the LORD?" 22 If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.

But they did claim to be "God's prophet" (the modern day Ezekiel class) and what they claimed clearly (many times) did not come true. Shouldn't it be clear (even to a JW) that this means they DO NOT speak/represent God?

But I guess there's a way to weasel out of this too?

    1. that the "7 trumpets of Revelation chapters 8 - 11" were 7 talks given at Bible Student conventions in the 1920s.

That is right. JW are fulfilling Bible prophecy.

Relating to JW dates, That is not prophecy. It is interpretation of prophecy.

Fisherman: That doesn’t disqualify them as God’s org or falsify their correct understanding of the Bible.

But if the dates were derived via 'Bible chronology' and/or a study of scripture, doesn't that mean their understanding of the Bible is not correct?

doesn't that mean their understanding of the Bible is not correct?

    And they corrected it.

    And they corrected it.

Like they corrected the child abuse situations? The wrong date of 1914 in connection with the wrong date of the destruction of Jerusalem? Are you saying that God doesn't know what He wants to say when he tells His people what to say in His name? Did God and Jesus tell us to worry about dates? Did they tell us to focus on preaching and not care for for elderly, the weak, the poor, the ill...? Did they tell us that the most important thing is a piece of paper with a bunch of hours per month?! That's how we assess spirituality... Can God lie, like the WT does all the time?! Did Jesus tell us to be arrogant and presumptuous like the WT/GB are?

The wrong date of 1914 in connection with the wrong date of the destruction of Jerusalem?

    Because that ain’t wrong.

What have you read to support your statement?! There are more than 5000 archaeological documents that prove that date wrong!!!

    What about my other questions?
