  Probably part of the deal they struck with the Warwick municipality to get zoning and construction approval for the HQ complex (along with "no proselytizing in the Warwick area").

  The Org will quite happily play ball with "Satan's World" to get what it wants, up to and including compromising its own principles.

  Actually, they probably aren't, because (to the best of my knowledge), the Boy Scouts organization - like the RCC - actually seems to be facing up to the problem.
