  Yes, he was branded a racist but saw what was coming and warned people. People should have listened. Instead, they just label people racist who warn of the threats to civilization and society.

  I don't know why "multiculturalism" is brandished as something to achieve or aspire to. The extent most people want it is to experience other cultures on vacation and to have more choices at the food court.

  Some cultures get along and are more sub-sets of a bigger culture (like Irish, Italian, French etc... are all European / Western). Others are very different but there is no conflict or animosity because there is respect between them and we can live together fine (many Asian / Eastern countries). Most multiculturalism still really mean ethnic enclaves or areas (just no outright violence).

  Then there is Islam.

  Islam doesn't want to assimilate and it doesn't really want to get along (except as a temporary tactic to further it's goals of domination). The mandate of Islam is to conquer and subjugate. It's baked into the pie, it's the lettering that runs through the stick of rock, whatever analogy you want to use. It wants to be dominant and in control and if you think it doesn't and want to actively fight those giving the warnings then you'll feel it's boot on your neck one day.

  I just love this guy. The U.S. comes to the aid of G.B. in it's darkest hour and he characterized the U.S. as a greater threat than the axis powers . Please note he said this while German bombs where falling on London, and Americans where shedding our blood in defense of our ally GB.

  Powell's suspicion of the anti-British Empire demeanor of the U.S.A. Government's foreign policy continued for the remainder of the war and into his subsequent post-war political career.

  So the ordinary British folk are at the sharp edge of this ghastly social engineering. If you want a prediction as to where Britain is heading look at Sweden. Look at France where the people have been told get used to terrorist outrages. Germany...? <snip>

  This social engineering is no accident, the questions that people should be asking themselves are who are the architects of this plan, who is funding it and why? What is their proposed end game?

  Yes, I have one idea. Labour opened the flood gates to immigrants, starting from the mid to late nineties.

  Labour had abandoned the white working class some time ago. True, Blair tried to woo the vote of 'white van man' but basically Labour turned its back on its traditional fan base, the white working class, to pursue other voters. It went after minority voters by painting the Tories as racist, homophobic, sexist, etc.

  According to this theory, Labour's plan was to import a new underclass of voters - immigrants. Some wouldn't vote and that would be fine for Labour. But out of the ones that would become interested in politics and vote, Labour planned they would vote for them - hence all the freebies given to immigrants under Blair's government. This goes some way to explain Labour's love of open borders, mirrored in the SJW love of open borders.

  Think about it, who are SJWs more likely to vote for - Labour or Tory scum? I think we know the answer to that.

  The Tories, first under Cameron and now under May, are so hopeless that they haven't stopped this completely.

  BTW, I'm not the first to put forward this theory, there are mutterings from politicians that this indeed was the case - New Labour under Tony Blair deliberately tried to change the fabric of British society, to 'rub the right's nose in diversity' and import a whole new generation of Labour voters. I believe Peter Mandelson has been quoted as saying re Labour immigration policy that 'Labour scouted abroad for voters' or something very similar.

  @Humbled - interesting that you bring up the case of Malala Yousafzai.

  A young teenage girl and her parents had to flee a Muslim country because extremist Muslims shot her in the head, obviously trying to kill her. They failed, and Malala and her immediate family fled for their lives and took refuge in a Western country (UK). She has apparently enrolled to study PPE up at Oxford, so good for her.

  This kind of Islamic violence is what concerns Tommy Robinson. I'm guessing he doesn't want that kind of violence here in the UK.

  That violence was alive in the Christian doctrine wars for years, LUHE. We have to honor the people who are brave to call enough in the face of death to stand for love and education instead of hate and ignorance.

  Desert goatherders is where the books of the Bible and Islam came from. As Bandicoot noted Malala’s father referred to the violent patriarchy that crushes girls and boys. Why pretend one religion was better than the other? ( yes. Islam is late to the game and we have rpg and oil tycoons) There were tender hearts that came from each tradition all mixed together. but the books have both love and hate. We have to feed the love.

  Like a high class family that doesn’t (like to) acknowledge that they had murderers, horse thieves and prostitutes for grandparents, western countries derived from primarily Christian antecedents do not acknowledge their own bloody religious imperialism.

  If religious violence is at the gates again then review the past fairly. If you could reach back and save from bloody murder the victims of Christian zeal, wouldn’t you?

  Law, law law. Strong and fair. Education for all.

  Clearly today, right now, a time that actually matters, some religions are worse than others. Going on about the bloody crusades doesn't change this.

  If you could reach back and save from bloody murder the victims of Christian zeal, wouldn’t you? - we cannot do this. We can't save victims of Christian zeal; we can't save all the Jews who died in Nazi concentration camps. We can only learn from history, not go back and change it.

  Law, law law. Strong and fair. Education for all - yep, agree with this. Education should be a priority and in Britain, British law for all.

  I was specific in my comparison of religions, Luhe. I committed a lot of effort to be clear on that. And l absolutely am not even referring to the Crusades. That you name the Crusades suggests you are not at all familiar with the hideous killings done in England when even not believing in the transubstantiation could set you over a slow burning death. ( you know that the friends of the condemned would sometimes chip in to buy more wood so that the fire could burn the hotter to bring the end more quickly). How about that?

  l maintain that that the Quran and the Old Testament in effect are the same. That is specific. I said in other posts that there are people who reject the ugly parts and see the good. I connect those individuals with the Yousefsai family. Especially when it was said that moderate Muslims would simply hold the legs of a victim the as an extreme Islamist beheads them.

  I am not suggesting a time machine to undo the past. I say that we Christian-derived countries had to make laws to protect ourselves from our own violent religious past and now should discern that Islam is the OT come alive again. Predatory and intolerant with some within who are pleading for their lives. Brave people. In this way we reach back in time-truly we cannot info the horrors that our own ancestors witnessed.

  Malala said she wants girls like herself not to be destined solely to serve a husband and bear multiple children. But if Muslim girls have not enough champions to save them from such a destiny they will be married off impregnated and their sons will burst the border over and over again. There must be strong measures that stop making it a religious war. That feeds the troll. Instead do as mr. Yousefsai did: name the enemy a violent patriarchy and fight all those elements. That worked with Christianity for the most part. We still have the religion. But it’s teeth and claws were filed down.

  This "oh the crusades!" is seriously done to death - the crusades were in part a response to the expansion and attacks by the Islamic caliphate, to massacres of Christian pilgrims and a desire to retake lands (including the holy lands) by the papacy.
