``And you will be hated by all the nations for the sake of my name"........ actually, Jehovah's Witnesses are seldom hated; more commonly they're regarded by the public with attititudes ranging from annoyance to a sort of bemused condescending tolerance, bordering on pity; they've often come in for praise when demonstrating honesty and industry.
On the occasions they incite to anger or reproach, Jesus' name is never at the crux of the issue, but rather becuase of their insularity, blood ban and anti-social policies. Even objections to their pacifism and political neutrality, once sources of opposition, have diminished as tolerant, enlightened freedom-loving nations grant them exemption from conscription and recognition as conscientious objecters.
