I just took a quick look at the e-publisher where I had my book of poetry for sale
It is free to have them sell an e-book. They accept the book as a pdf file and send it out as an executable file. It would be available in both PC and Mac formats
example - a 100 page e-book could sell for about 10$ US. Of that $10 the author (in this case JWD) would get $7 US for every book sold. Not bad
To get a POD book (print on demand) it costs a setup fee of 199$ US plus $18/per year for posting it on their site. POD books only pay 35- 50% of the book cost to the author
Personally I would prefer to stay with the e-book instead of having to deal with doling out money
We retain copyright of the book and can pull it off the site any time we want
I had no problems with this e-publisher before. I only used the e-book offer and did not use POD. Once a month they sent my a royalty check if the amount of the check was $10 or more. And they were honest about it.
Now that is only one e-publisher. I know people who use others and I have an anthology book coming out before xmas (I only wrote one story in it and am not in charge of the marketing for it)
Will the recipes be named according to attributes or perceptions of the poster they're associated with? For example, would mine be named "Demonised Fluffy Cat Leg Of Lamb" or "Hairy Bearded Bastard Mutton Chops"?
Apostafood for the soul...LMAO! I have a few good recipes I would be willing to contribute. Good idea Lady Lee. :) ~Aztec

I love it!!!!!!!!! Could be great fun.
Sounds like a great idea to me! I am not a very good cook.....my family has been known to hide when I put food on the table... But, I will be first in line to buy one, I can use all the help I can get!
Terrible cooking does not run in my family....my Grandma was runner up in the Pillsbury 9th Grand National Bake-Off. She had a recipe in the Grand National Recipe Booklet that they publish.....it was for a cake called..."Cocorama Cake"...I personally don't like coconut, so I have never made it myself. Grandma would be ashamed.
Here is a picture of her with Ronald Reagan, actor, before he became President of the United States.
Mrs. Shakita (who prefers eating over cooking)
wow what a nice piece of family history Mrs Shakita
Stephanus I think we might have to stick to more traditional names so people can find them LOL
