Trouble is when you bring this up they then move the goalposts, saying something like 'oh well, it wasn't what we were teaching back then that was the point - but it was our attitude, Jesus saw that this group of bible students were meek and teachable and genuinely looking for the truth and that's why he chose us...'

I would think "Jehovah" got called on the carpet on a few times about the lack of cleanliness in food preparation. I got sick twice eating that stuff. I would imagine more than a few city inspectors wrote them up.

So why do you harp on current doctrine so much now? Why do you disfellowship people for the 1% of your doctrine they may disagree with, while Jehovah would probably accept them, with 99%, as being teachable?
