I feel pretty much the same way. I believe there's something there, just not quite sure what. I don't really believe in the bible though.Maybe parts are inspired, maybe not. All I know is I read enough of it as a jw to last me a lifetime.

I do believe that there is *A* god or maybe even more than one. I also don't disbelieve Satan or demons but I do think they're way overrated.
i am afraid that puts you out of the agnostics category!
as to the bible...there is one simple explanation for the incoherent logic and weird stories. --> The whole damn thing was written by ignorant tribes people and is essentially BS! you can read as well grim's fairy tales for moral comfort and inspiration.

NO! You have posted your thoughts which are a reflection of many other ones posted and expressed before on this forum.That shows that you are thinking things through as we all are.
There are no easy answers to the issues raised.I find myself in your position and am continuing to search things through with the help of many on this forum.
God where are you! Why is mankind still on Death Row ?Did not your Son release mankind from Death? Just asking about what is so very confusing to me.

I know what you are talking about . I think Daniel and revelation were 2 parts of the bible that were almost omitted . Thomas sopposedly wrote something that was rejected . It would be interesting if more stuff could be examined.

Exactly! I was thinking much the same thing, but didn't put it in my post. The WTS is an excellent example of that. "Here's our interpretation of the Bible, including instructions to do exactly what we say without question and by the way contributions are down so brothers dig deeper in those pockets!".
