My Tats,

A snake given to me with a Prison Gun (buddy just got out after 3 years in DOC, we got drunk, I got tattoed).

My First Tat, I designed it myself. Underneath it says M&M, which was a nick name an old girlfriend gave me, because "You melt in my mouth not in my hand" she'd say. IT's not real clear in this pic, but it's a Pegasus Ramp (my family Coat of Arms)in flight over an Island with a Castle. It symbolizes dreams coming true.

My "club" tat, cuz Army guys don't belong to gangs. The "cool" guys I wanted to hang with at the bar in Panama all had this tat, said no one else could get it. I went to the Tattoo Parlour and had Jim put the same Tat on me. I showed up at the bar knowing I was either gonna be "in" for having a set of brass balls, or get the shit kicked out of me. I was initiated that night into "La Familia" The Family, which was our club name.

My 13 year old daughter, the reason I worry so much.

I have Mehandi art done on my feet and hands during the summer. For those of us who aren't into the pain/ permanence of tattoos Mehandi is the way to go the beautifully intricate lace patterns and the lushes hues of orange/brown are fab. The design will last about 2/3 weeks. I'll post pictures in the future.

I'm not looking to copy anyone on this board. I enjoy to look at other people's body art; hence the reason I asked for pics.

Tattoos were not very popular and now they are - this is what I mean. Body piercing was once only viewed on documentaries dealing with stone age inhabitants from various jungles who baked brains for breakfast, and now it is not.

I suppose I should be tolerant but then again being tolerant is an overrated quality as it might persuade a person to tolerate the intolerable.

HS - I do understand your views! I love tattoos, always have, and I plan on getting the ones on my arms elaborated! IT's about me, not anybody else And this doesn't stop me from admiring other people's tats as well, I love tat threads!
